Providing psychological services to support student learning and well-being within a K-12 public school setting, this part-time position (0.5 FTE) requires an active South Carolina Psychologist license. The role is based at a single school location in Mount Pleasant and offers an opportunity to contribute to the success and mental health of children and adolescents throughout the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students K-12
- Provide consultation to teachers, staff, and families regarding student needs and interventions
- Implement behavioral support plans and crisis intervention strategies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student academic and social-emotional development
- Maintain accurate records and comply with state and district regulations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active license to practice psychology in South Carolina required
- Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
- Strong understanding of assessment tools, behavioral interventions, and educational law
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
