Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time School Psychologist position is available to support K-12 students at a school in North Charleston, SC, for the current school year through a contract ending on May 29, 2026. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing psychological services tailored to the diverse needs of students within the school district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to support student learning and development
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement intervention strategies
- Provide counseling and crisis support services as needed
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to developing educational plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina State Psychologist Licensure is required
- Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a school-based team environment
- Familiarity with educational laws, regulations, and best practices in school psychology
