Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-semester contract opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within a K-12 school setting in Worcester, MA. There are two full-time positions available, each responsible for delivering high-quality speech-language support during staff leaves. Candidates must hold active SLP licensure in Massachusetts and possess school-based experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Writing detailed reports and Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Delivering direct speech-language services to students
- Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams through consultations and communications
- Participating in IEP meetings to advocate for students communication needs
Position details:
- Full-time (32.5 hours per week), with part-time candidates also considered
- Two openings: one covering maternity leave and the other medical leave
- Start dates: ASAP; end dates to be determined based on leave duration
- Onsite presence required due to caseload demands
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts SLP license (CCC certification required)
- Prior experience in school-based speech-language pathology
- Ability to complete CORI background check and fingerprinting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to working onsite to manage caseload effectively
