Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide therapeutic services in an elementary school setting. This full-time, contract position supports children from PreK through 2nd grade in a vibrant learning environment focused on early development and literacy.
Location: Sanford, FL
Assignment: Elementary School
Duration: Current School Year (CSY) Contract
Schedule: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)
Start Date: ASAP through May 29, 2026
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized speech and language therapy to students with communication disorders
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance with state education standards
- Participating in assessments and developing tailored intervention plans
- Supporting early literacy and communication development in young learners
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida Department of Health license to practice as an SLP
- Professional licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with early childhood or elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong assessment and intervention skills for PreK to 2nd-grade populations
- Ability to manage caseload and communicate effectively with families and staff
