Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide itinerant services across multiple private schools in the Deltona, FL area. The position supports K-12 students within several private campuses, offering a diverse caseload in a dynamic educational setting. This is a contract role through the current school year, providing a full-time schedule working directly on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to K-12 students across multiple private schools.
- Manage an itinerant caseload, traveling to assigned campuses including Saint Mary Magdalen Catholic School, The Masters Academy, The Ecclesial School at Saint Albans, Altamonte Christian School, Orangewood Christian, and International Community School.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement effective therapy plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting in compliance with school policies and professional standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Florida State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Masters Degree in Speech Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a closely related field.
- Previous experience working with school-aged children from K through 12th grade.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple locations with an itinerant caseload.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Location:
- On-site only in Deltona, FL area with itinerant responsibilities spanning several private schools.
