Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers the opportunity to provide vital support to K-12 students within an itinerant role serving multiple private schools in the Sanford, FL area. The role requires a dynamic professional who is passionate about helping children with speech and language challenges across diverse educational settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language evaluations and intervention services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Travel between assigned private schools including Saint Mary Magdalen Catholic School, The Masters Academy, and Orangewood Christian, among others.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and comply with state and school district requirements.
- Participate in meetings and coordinate services to best support student communication needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field.
- Current Florida State License for Speech-Language Pathologists.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Previous experience working within K-12 educational settings highly desirable.
- Must be able to provide services independently (SLPAs will not be considered).
Location & Schedule:
- Position based in Sanford, FL, with travel to several private school locations in the surrounding Oviedo and Northeastern Orlando areas.
- Full-time, contract position for the 2025-2026 school year (ASAP start through May 27, 2026).
- On-site presence is required to effectively serve the schools.
