Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide occupational therapy support to students in a K-12 school setting, primarily focusing on elementary-aged children. This full-semester contract position is based in Huntingdon, PA, serving one to two buildings within a district that includes four schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students as outlined in individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with the district's OCR supervisor for oversight and guidance
- Adjust interventions and support based on student needs within a K-12 population
- Maintain documentation and communication with school staff and families
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Experience working in school environments preferred
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, approximately 5-6 hours per day
- Strong communication and organizational skills
