Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for an Occupational Therapist to provide essential support to students in an elementary school setting in Glendale, AZ. This full-time contract position runs through the current school year with a start date as soon as possible. The role focuses on delivering both direct and indirect occupational therapy services to K-8 students within a dynamic itinerant caseload. Candidates with school-based occupational therapy experience will be given priority consideration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services collaboratively within the school environment
- Deliver direct therapy and implement interventions tailored to student needs
- Offer indirect services such as consultation and collaboration with teachers and staff
- Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
- Manage caseload efficiently across multiple school sites as part of itinerant services
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Occupational Therapy license required
- Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card must be present
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Ability to work onsite full time, generally 37.5-40 hours per week
