A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a dynamic school setting in Prattville, AL. This role involves providing specialized speech and language support to students, requiring the ability to travel between schools as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children.
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals in collaboration with educators and families.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of therapy sessions.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
- Travel between multiple school sites within the area to deliver services.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Valid SLP certification and appropriate state licensure.
- Experience working with children in school environments.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorder assessments and interventions.
