A position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve students in a school setting in New Britain, CT. This role offers opportunities for travel between schools, allowing for diverse experiences working with varied student populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and provide individualized speech and language therapy to students.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on evaluations and student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to monitor student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student performance.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification and licensure.
- Experience working in school environments preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel between multiple school locations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and special education regulations.
Location: New Britain, Connecticut, with travel to surrounding school sites as required.
