Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide vital communication support to students in a dynamic educational environment. This role requires a professional who is skilled in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders to help students achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings focused on student development
- Traveling between schools as needed to deliver services
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with children and adolescents in school settings
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Flexibility to travel within the assigned geographical area
