A skilled Occupational Therapist is needed to provide therapy services within school settings, supporting students in achieving their functional and developmental goals. This position is based in Bridgeport, CT, with travel required between various schools to deliver comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students specific needs
- Implement therapeutic activities to improve students motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living abilities
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to school-based interventions
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with valid certification for school-based practice
- Experience working within educational settings preferred
