A full-time role is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting K-12 students across elementary and middle school settings. This contract position will involve working approximately 35 hours per week, servicing 2-3 school buildings with a focus on providing direct intervention as part of a school-based caseload. The position spans a full semester with a start date as soon as possible and continues through June 9, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language support services under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in school settings.
- Manage caseloads effectively between elementary and middle schools.
- Collaborate with educational teams to support students individualized communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to school district policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Connecticut license to practice as an SLPA.
- Current district fingerprints and background clearance.
- Prior experience working within school environments is required.
