An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support elementary school students in New Haven, CT. This contract position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on young learners during the current school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for elementary-aged students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to facilitate student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational standards.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working within school settings, specifically elementary education.
- Strong knowledge of best practices in pediatric speech and language therapy.
- Ability to engage and support children in a classroom environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
