Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A dynamic opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services within a school setting. This role involves working collaboratively with educators, students, and families to support student learning and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Develop and implement intervention plans to support academic and behavioral success
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to identify student needs and recommend supports
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Monitor and report on student progress and outcomes
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with school staff and families
- Ability to travel as required to multiple school locations within the region
