A School Psychologist position is available for a dynamic professional interested in supporting student success across multiple educational settings. This role involves providing psychological services within schools, with opportunities for travel to various locations to address diverse student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student strengths and challenges.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administration to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
- Provide counseling and support to students experiencing emotional, behavioral, or academic difficulties.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to recommend educational accommodations and modifications.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Travel to different school sites within the assigned region to deliver consistent support services.
Qualifications:
- Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and evidence-based interventions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel as part of job duties.
- Experience working with diverse student populations preferred.
