A school district in Warwick, RI is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to support the educational and emotional development of students. This role involves travel between school locations within the district to provide assessments, counseling, and collaborative support to educators and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual students
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as necessary
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Monitor and report on student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting assessments and developing individualized intervention plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage caseloads while traveling between school sites
