Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide speech therapy services for elementary students as a licensed Speech Language Pathologist working on-site in Semmes, AL. This contract position serves K5th grade students at a local elementary school within the Mobile County School District.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Professional License or Educator Certification in Speech Language Pathology (one required)
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children, especially K5th grade
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
