A contract opportunity is available for a bilingual social worker to support students and families within a school setting located in Warren, MI. This role focuses on providing culturally responsive social work services that promote student well-being, academic success, and positive social development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans addressing students' emotional, social, and behavioral needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students' mental health and personal growth.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and community resources to develop strategies promoting student success.
- Help address barriers to learning by connecting families to appropriate support services.
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with ethical standards and district policies.
Qualifications:
- Licensed social worker with relevant state certification or eligibility.
- Bilingual proficiency (specifically Spanish-English or other relevant languages) to effectively communicate with diverse student populations and families.
- Experience working in a school environment, preferably with students of varying ages and backgrounds.
- Strong understanding of social-emotional development and crisis intervention techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.

Compensation: Pay rate ranges from $38.82 to $46.35 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
