Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in pediatrics is sought to provide vital speech and language evaluations and therapy services for school-aged children (K-5). This contract position is based onsite in Arlington, TX, with an itinerant schedule that offers flexibility for part-time or full-time engagement (20-30 hours per week). The role includes both direct interaction with students and the opportunity to complete report writing remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for children in kindergarten through fifth grade.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, adapting approaches to meet diverse needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student development.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including reports and progress notes, with the remote option for report writing.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed Speech Language Pathologist with experience in pediatric settings.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required to effectively communicate with students and families.
- Experience working in schools or similar educational environments preferred.
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills tailored to pediatric populations.
- Ability to manage time efficiently in an itinerant role, balancing onsite sessions and remote documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
