Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school-based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide bilingual (Spanish) speech and language services to school-aged children from kindergarten through 5th grade. This position is onsite with an itinerant schedule, offering part-time hours of 20 to 30 per week. The role includes conducting evaluations and therapy sessions, primarily serving pediatric students in the educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform speech and language evaluations for K-5 students.
- Deliver individualized therapy to address communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Complete report writing with the option to work remotely.
- Utilize bilingual skills in Spanish to effectively communicate and assess students.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Fluency in Spanish with experience in bilingual assessment and therapy.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings.
- Ability to travel between school locations as part of an itinerant schedule.
