A contract opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide teletherapy services within a K-12 school setting in Theodore, AL. The role involves delivering speech-language pathology support primarily through telespeech and teletherapy platforms to students across multiple campuses as an itinerant specialist, as well as a dedicated position serving K-5 students at a single elementary school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and therapy sessions using teletherapy technology.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators and families to support consistent communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with state regulations.
- Serve students ranging from kindergarten to 12th grade, with a focus on elementary-aged children in one position.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active licensure with the Alabama Board of Speech Examiners and licensure valid in the candidate's state of residence.
- Demonstrated experience or comfort with telespeech and teletherapy service delivery.
- Ability to work 35 hours per week during the contracted school year session from March through May 29, 2026.
- Strong communication and organizational skills suited to a virtual service model.
