Provide specialized speech-language pathology services via teletherapy for students in a K-12 educational setting located in Arlington, TX. This contract role supports the Regional Day School Program for the Deaf (RDSPD), focusing on students who are deaf or hard of hearing (DHH).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy speech-language pathology (SLP) services tailored to the needs of DHH students.
- Utilize proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or hold a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHHT) certification to enhance communication and therapy effectiveness.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to design individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor and document student progress according to program requirements.
- Maintain active communication with families to support student therapy goals remotely.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Texas SLP license.
- Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) or certification as a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHHT).
- Experience working with DHH students or in a deaf education program is highly desirable.
- Comfort and proficiency delivering speech therapy via telespeech and teletherapy platforms.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners in an inclusive educational environment.

Position Details:
- Contract term through 5/28/26, starting as soon as possible.
- Full-time schedule, approximately 37.5 hours per week.
