Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A 40-hour per week contract position is available for a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist skilled in telespeech and teletherapy, supporting K12 students through virtual services. This role requires managing caseloads across multiple schools, with duties including direct therapy, supervising a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), and contributing to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy services to students from kindergarten to 12th grade
- Supervise an SLPA by providing guidance and support; license addition for the SLPA and completion of a brief supervisory webinar (if new to supervision) is required
- Observe therapy sessions and collect classroom data to inform IEP development and progress monitoring
- Attend IEP meetings and collaborate with the educational team
- Ensure compliance with Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation requirements and maintain up-to-date licensure
Qualifications:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) licensure
- ASHA certification preferred if hours have been logged
- Experience with telespeech and teletherapy service delivery
- Ability to supervise an SLPA and complete required supervisory training if applicable
- Strong organizational and communication skills for accurate data collection and teamwork
