Requirements:

Must meet all local and state licensure requirements for Speech Language Pathologists in Tennessee

Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) through ASHA preferred
-
Active Tennessee SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)

Experience working with special education students and families highly preferred
Typical Responsibilities:
-
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with communication and language needs
-
Conduct evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring to guide therapy goals
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
-
Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, data collection, and compliance requirements
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to promote communication success in and out of the classroom
-
Offer consultation and strategies to support classroom communication and learning
-
Participate in IEP meetings, staff collaboration sessions, and professional development
