A full-time School Psychologist position is available in the Chattanooga area, supporting K-5 students within a local K-12 school. This contract role runs from ASAP through May 21, 2026, and requires onsite presence with no hybrid or remote options.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for elementary students
- Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings and collaborate in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Design and implement behavior plans to support student needs
- Manage caseloads across multiple elementary schools with some travel between locations
- Maintain compliance with Tennessee Department of Education certification requirements and district policies
Qualifications:
- Active Tennessee Department of Education certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary-aged children (K-5)
- Ability to manage multiple school assignments and coordinate schedules effectively
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, parents, and administrators
