Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available within a K-12 educational setting serving elementary students (K-5) in the Chattanooga area. This contract role offers a comprehensive experience working across multiple schools with a focus on supporting student evaluations, ARDs, IEPs, and behavior plans. The assignment requires onsite presence with possible minor travel between schools to effectively manage caseloads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations for elementary-aged students
- Participate actively in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Design and monitor behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with educators and staff to support student needs
- Manage caseloads according to district guidelines and timelines
Qualifications:
- Valid Tennessee Department of Education certification for School Psychology
- Experience in conducting assessments and delivering intervention plans in a K-5 school setting
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and procedures
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Flexibility to travel between schools within the district

Working Hours:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
