Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist opportunity is available to support elementary students (K-5) within a dynamic K-12 school environment. This full-time contract position involves comprehensive psychological services aimed at enhancing student learning and well-being through targeted assessments and interventions.
Location: Cleveland, TN
Duration: Current school year (CSY) contract
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, onsite only (no remote or hybrid options)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations to identify student needs
- Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Design and implement behavior intervention plans
- Manage caseloads primarily consisting of elementary school students
- Collaborate closely with school staff and administrators to support student success
- Travel between assigned schools as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Tennessee Department of Education certification for school psychology
- Experience working in K-5 educational settings preferred
- Strong skills in conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, and behavior planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work full-time onsite with flexible coordination across multiple schools
