Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide specialized speech-language pathology services in a K-12 school setting within the Chattanooga area. This full-time contract position (35-37.5 hours per week) requires on-site work, supporting 1-3 elementary campuses depending on caseload. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through May 21, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify communication disorders
- Participate in individual and team meetings to coordinate student support
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Tennessee Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Tennessee Department of Education certification
- Experience working with pediatric populations in a school environment preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple caseloads efficiently
