About the Role
The Physical Therapist will work with students across various age groups and ability levels, providing assessments, interventions, and consultations that promote motor development, mobility, and overall physical independence. Youll play a vital role in helping students reach their full potential in both academic and functional settings.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct assessments and create therapy plans aligned with student IEPs

Provide direct and consultative therapy to meet individualized student goals

Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to ensure holistic care

Document therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with district standards

Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning
Qualifications

Active New Mexico Physical Therapy License (required)

Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred

Familiarity with IDEA guidelines and IEP documentation

Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills

This full-time onsite role offers a competitive hourly rate of $38$45, based on experience and qualifications.
