Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing qualified and dedicated Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time, school-based contract position in Eugene, Oregon. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive district team, helping students improve communication skills and reach their academic and developmental goals.
Requirements:

Must meet all state and local licensure requirements for Speech Language Pathologists in Oregon

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
-
School-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and staff
Typical Responsibilities:
-
Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs
-
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals based on student needs
-
Provide direct and consultative therapy services in both individual and group settings
-
Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and service delivery in accordance with district and state guidelines
-
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
-
Support staff and families by sharing communication strategies and tools for classroom and home use
-
Use evidence-based therapeutic techniques and assistive communication technology when appropriate
