Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Keller, Texas. This is a full-time contract position to cover a maternity leave from January through March, with potential for renewal based on district needs and performance.

Requirements:

Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Active Texas SLP license (or eligibility)

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; open to CFs

Must meet all state and local regulations for school-based SLPs

Experience with special education students and families highly preferred
Typical Job Duties:

Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
-
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress

Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and maintain compliance with all special education requirements

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and service delivery discussions

Provide both individual and group therapy sessions to address speech and language needs
