Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed School Counselor to join a supportive middle school team in Raytown, Missouri, for the 20252026 school year. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing academic, career, and emotional guidance to students in a dynamic educational environment.
Responsibilities

Provide academic advising and assist students with course selection and goal planning.

Support students social, emotional, and behavioral development through individual and group counseling.

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address student needs and develop intervention plans.

Facilitate crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and peer mediation as needed.

Maintain documentation and adhere to ethical and professional counseling standards.

Participate in school-wide initiatives that promote student wellness and success.

Qualifications

Active Missouri School Counselor License (required)
