Early Childhood SLP Job Duties

Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in preschool-aged children

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on each childs unique needs

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support early learning goals

Provide both direct and consultative speech-language services

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
Federal and State Requirements

Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Active Kansas SLP license required; CCC-SLP preferred

Previous experience in early childhood or preschool settings strongly preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
