SLP Job Duties

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs

Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress

Provide both direct and consultative services to help students succeed in academic and social settings

Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations through accurate documentation
Federal and State Requirements

Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Active Missouri SLP license required; CCC-SLP preferred

Previous school-based experience preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
