School Psychologist Job Duties

Conduct psychological and developmental evaluations for early childhood students

Develop intervention strategies to support emotional, social, and academic growth

Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create individualized education plans (IEPs)

Provide counseling, behavioral support, and consultation services as needed

Maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal regulations through proper documentation and reporting
Federal and State Requirements

Masters or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology

Active Kansas School Psychologist certification/license required

Experience working with early childhood populations preferred

Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
