This full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers a rewarding opportunity to support K-12 students across multiple school settings in the St. Louis, MO area. The role involves working directly on-site within a contract school year assignment, providing specialized services to diverse learners.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 45 students, including those using AAC devices.
- Serve students in multiple school environments, such as Bernard Middle School, Riverview Elementary, and a self-contained setting at Southview School (K-21).
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Implement assessments, documentation, and progress reporting according to school and state guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and parent conferences to ensure effective communication and program success.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Missouri state license to practice as an SLP.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
- Experience working in educational settings with K-12 students preferred.
- Ability to manage a full-time caseload and maintain documentation standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families.
Location: On-site in St. Louis, Missouri, at multiple school locations.
This contract position runs from ASAP through June 3, 2026, with a 37.5 hour workweek. The assignment is strictly on-site with direct engagement at school campuses.
