A school-based Occupational Therapist position is available in Waltham, MA, supporting elementary-aged students in a dynamic educational environment. This role involves providing occupational therapy services at two schools located within a quarter mile of each other, including a Dual Language School known for its commitment to fostering bilingualism and cultural diversity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to elementary students developmental and educational needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support students participation and success in the school setting.
- Manage a caseload that includes students at both the Dual Language School and an additional nearby school.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy licensure.
- Experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting preferred.
- Comfort and enthusiasm for working in a dual language instructional environment; candidates should review the schools mission and values.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Location and Schedule:
- Waltham, MA.
- Onsite position.
- Contract role from ASAP through May 29, 2026.
- 24 hours per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
