This opportunity is for a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to provide essential support services within K-12 schools in the Jacksonville, FL area. The position requires working on-site at multiple school locations, assisting a virtual Speech Language Pathologist to deliver speech therapy services effectively. The role spans the current school year, beginning ASAP through late May 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement speech and language therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Provide support to students across multiple school sites, adapting to itinerant assignments
- Collaborate with virtual SLPs to ensure consistent and effective service delivery
- Maintain documentation and progress notes in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Engage with students from kindergarten through 12th grade, tailoring support to diverse developmental needs
