Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Duties

Conduct evaluations and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs

Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success

Document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary

Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations

Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
Federal and State Requirements

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
-
Current Texas SLP license required; CCC-SLP preferred

Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, FERPA, and other applicable education laws

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Fingerprinting and background clearance as required by Texas school districts
