Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Located in Middletown, DE, this full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role supports K-12 students through a contracted school year position lasting from ASAP through June 12, 2026. The ideal candidate holds current Delaware licensure/certification and a valid SLP-CCC credential. Please note that Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not being considered for this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech therapy services to students across grades (caseload TBD)
- Complete comprehensive evaluations and write Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Attend IEP meetings and collaborate with educators and families
- Collect and analyze progress monitoring data
- Maintain accurate therapy notes consistent with educational requirements
- Utilize Data Service Center and Power School IEP software systems
- Provide services primarily onsite, with some flexibility for hybrid arrangements
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Delaware SLP license and certification (SLP-CCC strongly preferred)
- Experience working within K-12 school settings
- Proficient in speech therapy evaluation and intervention techniques
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to manage caseload and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Schedule and Location:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Onsite presence preferred in Middletown, DE, with openness to hybrid work arrangements
