Occupational Therapist Job Duties

Assess and evaluate students fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills within the school setting

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans

Provide direct and consultative therapy services to help students access curriculum and school activities

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student growth and independence

Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
Federal and State Requirements

Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university

Active Minnesota Occupational Therapy License required

Previous school-based experience preferred

Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
