A bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a K-12 school setting serving a vibrant community in Irving, TX. This contract role, lasting from January 5, 2026, through May 28, 2026, offers an itinerant schedule supporting multiple campuses with hybrid work flexibility, including one remote day per week. The position is an integral part of the evaluation team, providing essential speech and language services to students in a dynamic, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students across K-12 grades.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Utilize district-provided resources, including test kits, computers, and communication systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings.
- Provide services in both English and Spanish to accommodate bilingual students.
- Travel between assigned campuses to deliver consistent and effective support.
- Adhere to all state licensing requirements and district policies.
Qualifications:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.
- Flexibility for hybrid work travel to multiple campuses.
