Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for three Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide maternity leave coverage in elementary schools located in Anoka, MN. Opportunities are open to licensed SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs), with virtual options available for part of the caseload. This role requires a commitment to supporting young students in their speech and language development within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to elementary-aged students according to school schedules and caseload needs.
- Provide support either in-person or virtually, depending on assignment requirements.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP or CCC required).
- Tier 3 or 4 Minnesota Education Certificate.
- Eligible Clinical Fellows are welcome.
- Experience working with school-age children preferred.
- Candidates must ensure compliance with Minnesotas work hour restrictions, especially for virtual assignments.
Assignment Details:
- Locations: Elementary schools in Anoka area (Brooklyn Center, Coon Rapids, Blaine).
- Schedule: Full-time (37.5 hours/week), Monday through Friday.
- Caseload Examples:
- 0.6 FTE (60%) from mid-December to late March, with up to 20% virtual.
- 0.7 FTE starting early January through May, with up to 60% virtual.
- 1.0 FTE from late January to mid-March, with up to 20% virtual.

- Virtual candidates should currently hold an assignment in Minnesota and comply with MNs 1.0 FTE work hour limitations.
