A School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide maternity leave coverage in multiple elementary schools located in Andover, MN. This contract role requires commitment to a 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, offering flexible scheduling and the potential for virtual assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students, ensuring progress toward individualized education goals.
- Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication needs.
- Document and report student progress in compliance with district and state requirements.
- Manage virtual caseloads as assigned, maintaining effective communication and high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Valid Tier 3 or 4 Minnesota Education Certificate.
- Experience with school-based caseloads preferred.
- Ability to provide coverage during maternity leave periods.
- For virtual assignments, candidates must be authorized to work in Minnesota and comply with work-hour regulations.
Assignment Details:
- Contract duration aligned with maternity leave periods ranging from early January to late March.
- Caseloads include partial virtual services (.2 to .4 FTE) supporting elementary schools in the surrounding area.
- A maximum of 40 work hours per week is required for clinicians serving virtual roles in Minnesota.
