Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This contract opportunity is for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite therapy services at multiple elementary school locations in Minneapolis, MN. The assignment covers maternity leave positions with a focus on delivering direct therapy within an established 3:1 service modelthree weeks of direct services followed by one week of indirect support.
Location: Minneapolis area elementary schools
Duration: December 15, 2025 May 29, 2026
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students in typical classroom settings as well as some in Setting III CDC classrooms
- Deliver services across multiple locations with varying intensity (.1 to .8 FTE) to support different leave coverage needs
- Manage a caseload exclusively focused on therapy services; evaluation duties are handled by a separate team
- Implement individualized treatment plans and maintain detailed documentation of progress
Qualifications:
- Valid and current SLP licensure
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working in school-based settings with elementary-aged students
- Ability to work efficiently within a 3:1 service delivery model
- Comfort providing services in diverse classroom environments including Setting III CDC
