A school district in Anoka, MN, is seeking a Per Diem School Psychologist to support an elementary school serving students from kindergarten through 5th grade. This contract position offers part-time, as-needed hours with a focus on helping manage the growing demand for evaluations and assessments.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive academic testing and special education assessments to identify student needs.
- Collaborate with educational staff to develop appropriate interventions and supports.
- Maintain clear and timely documentation of evaluations.
- Assist in managing caseloads and meeting state or district deadlines.
- Provide expertise to support student learning and development within the K-5 grade span.
Qualifications:
- Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably K-5.
- Knowledge of academic testing tools and special education assessment processes.
