An elementary school in Hopkins, MN is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a leave contract position starting December 15, 2025, through May 29, 2026. This role involves providing onsite speech therapy services across multiple elementary schools to cover maternity leave absences. The position operates Monday through Friday for 37.5 hours per week, following a 3:1 service modelthree weeks of direct therapy services followed by one week of indirect services.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to elementary students, including those in Setting III CDC
- Manage therapy caseload exclusively, as evaluations are handled by a separate team
- Provide services across multiple buildings during distinct periods:
- 12/15/2025 to 3/23/2026 at one elementary school (40% in person)
- 1/28/2026 to 3/16/2026 at another elementary school (80% in person)
- 1/5/2026 through the end of May (10% in person)
- Collaborate with school staff to support student needs and progress
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Eligibility or current licensure for SLP in a school setting
- Open to candidates with completed Clinical Fellowship (CF); SLPA candidates not eligible
- Experience working with elementary-aged children, including typical and Setting III CDC caseloads
- Strong organizational skills to balance a multi-site caseload efficiently
