Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Providing maternity leave coverage in multiple elementary schools located near Andover, MN, this contract opportunity seeks three licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support students communication development during key pause periods. Candidates should hold a current Tier 3 or 4 Minnesota Education Certificate and must be fully credentialed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC preferred); Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not eligible.
Key Details:
- Duration and caseloads vary by location, with assignments from mid-December through the end of May.
- Coverage needed for approximately 0.6 to 1.0 full-time equivalent at each site.
- Up to 60% of some caseload hours may be accommodated virtually; virtual candidates must comply with Minnesota's 1.0 full-time work hour restriction.
- Daily schedule consists of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Locations include elementary schools in Brooklyn Center, Coon Rapids, and Blaine.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Minnesota Tier 3 or 4 Education Certificate.
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) credentials preferred.
- Experience providing speech and language services in an elementary school setting.
- Able to provide maternity leave coverage in a flexible, adaptive manner.
- Comfort with partial virtual service delivery and coordination.
- Compliance with Minnesota state educational and professional service regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students.
- Monitor and document student progress, update individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student success.
- Manage caseloads efficiently, respecting schedules and service delivery models.
