Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary school students. This position is located in Newark, DE, and is offered for the current school year (CSY).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged children
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license or certification (CCC-SLP preferred)
- Experience working in a school setting, preferably with elementary students
- Strong skills in speech and language assessment and intervention
- Ability to work effectively with children, families, and educational teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
